For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. Because all in this life is not forever and you should rather seek for the eternal things. What do I mean by eternal? Salvation. You are living in world as a ship on the sea and you are sinking as Peter did. This is why, you should cry together with him “My Lord, save me!” And our Lord will give you His hand as he did to Peter.

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord” (James 1:6-7). Only through faith we will obtain everything that we want. “Just have faith, just believe”, St. Ambrose said. The one with little faith, little will receive; and the one with great faith, great things he will receive.

If one believes that in front of him there is the will of God then so it will be. If he doesn’t believe, it won’t be. If someone in his deep prayer believes that God listens to his words, God will do it, but if he doesn’t, then God will not listen to him. If one believes that he will receive what he is asking for, then he will receive, and if he doesn’t he shall not receive. He only needs to have faith and believe.

Therefore, everyone should make a choice and ask from God all that they want. Do you want to live long? Long life is in God’s right hand. Do you want glory, richness? They are in God’s left hand. Do you want power and domination? His right hand can give you power, His right hand can raise you.

But all these are not forever and you should rather seek for the eternal ones. What do I mean by eternal? Salvation. You are living in world as a ship on the sea and you are sinking as Peter did. This is why, you should cry together with him “My Lord, save me!” And our Lord will give you His hand as he did to Peter.
