God, forgive me! Why is repentance so important?

To repent means knowing your sins, washing them in the tears of your repentance and deciding to start a new life

There’s no bigger joy than loving God

But when our soul knows the love of God through the Holy Spirit, then he feels that God is like a Father for us, the closest, the dearest and kindest.

Through prayer we ask for God’s advice

Prayer makes people brothers with the angels. Prayer, made in Spirit and truth, has the power of raising Christians who do it, to their highest rank, wisdom, honour and level of life.

Mothers, teach your children pray!

As “mother” and “father” are the first words in children’s vocabulary, in a similar way his first conversations with God should start with “Theotokos” and “our Father”.

Children, always bear God in your thoughts!

Even from infancy, children will get accustomed to pray before and after a meal, before and after finishing lessons, leaving or getting into the house, or before anything else that they do.

Parents, rejoice your children!

May that the serene and pure joy of a happy infancy be with our children, even from their cradle. May that love incessantly comfort and tender warm their hearts.

Love, cornerstone of family

Kids know everything, and they feel the absence of divine grace in their family. It remains only form without content, the salt that has lost its taste. Let us therefore strive to keep the love and respect of children.

When a child learns how to pray, he learns what joy is

From the rhythm of our breathing we can guess the healthiness of our body. How big is the parents’ fear when their child is hardly breathing and in danger of suffocating. But we should fear more the lack of spiritual breathing, which is prayer.

Take the example of the Almighty God, who forgave the sins of so many murderers and enemies. 

Humble yourself so God won’t humble you

„Brother, for the sake of the great gift God has given to you that through your sins so much you’ve damaged consider this: think of yourself as the most unworthy and faultiest of them all. Be grateful to those who allow you the chance to be humble, meaning those who denigrate or have denigrated you. Even if you reluctantly accept their words, make an effort and don’t show your discontent”.
