Do not Stay Away from Our Saviour’s Body and Blood
The most beautiful and sacred invitation is the one made by the priest: ‘With fear of God, faith, and Love, draw near!’ He doesn’t say ‘go away!’ We receive the Crucified and Resurrected Christ and the joy of the Heaven, for the ‘God’s kingdom is within us.’
Man is called to regularly come to the Chalice of Life. The most beautiful and sacred invitation is the one made by the priest: ‘With fear of God, faith, and Love, draw near!’ He doesn’t say ‘go away!’ We receive the Crucified and Resurrected Christ and the joy of the Heaven, for the ‘God’s kingdom is within us.’ In order for someone to reach the Chalice of Life, first of all, they need repentance, confession, study of the Scriptures and blessed struggle against all that are contrary to God’s will.
