God forbids the fulfilment of wishes that can hurt you
It is not possible, but also it is not good for you that all be done according to your wish. Many times, your thought is lost, your wish is vicious and your will is selfish. . And the all-knowing God sees it, even if you don’t realise. This is why he doesn’t allow that all your wishes be fulfilled, so that your soul – your biggest treasure – will not be hurt. Therefore, entrust yourself in the hands of God and into His will.
Don’t be sad if things don’t happen in life as you wished. It is not possible, but also it is not good for you that all be done according to your wish. Many times, your thought is lost, your wish is vicious and your will is selfish. And the all-knowing God sees it, even if you don’t realise. This is why he doesn’t allow that all your wishes be fulfilled, so that your soul – your biggest treasure – will not be hurt. “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matthew 16:26).
Therefore, entrust yourself in the hands of God and into His will. Did you wish came true? Thank him. It didn’t? Praise Him. You don’t need anything that God doesn’t give you. Nothing, except one thing: don’t alienate yourself from God and His gift. This is why you should “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Psalms 54:22).
