Man’s despair, the devil’s joy
Life puts us to harsh tests - problems we’ve never thought of. So what? All of these are small compared to the sacrifice our Lord made for our salvation. He allows our struggle, but after a small amount of time he reveals again His glory. The more someone comes closer to the light the more we can see his flaws. The deeper we go into the spiritual life, the more we can see our faults, sins and know ourselves better.
Disappointment is the devil’s biggest achievement, his feast. No my child! Never! Our Lord allows our struggle, but after a small amount of time he reveals again His glory. Be glad that you can see yourself in distress. The more someone comes closer to the light the more we can see his flaws. The deeper we go into the spiritual life, the more we can see our faults, sins and know ourselves better.
Life puts us to harsh tests - problems we’ve never thought of. So what? All of these are small compared to the sacrifice that our Lord made for our salvation, compared to the word of wisdom “I didn’t come to be served, but to serve”. Whatever happens to us, all is nothing compared to what our Lord offered to us on earth, let alone on Heaven.
