Only God can be perfect, even saints have a limited power, not to talk about us, sinful people. Thus, you can be certain that your other half will have his or her own passions and shortcoming. Of course, this doesn’t mean that man is made only of passions, shortcomings and nothing else (because he would be pitiful!). He also has innate virtues (Scara, Cuvântul 26, 41) (except if he ceased to be human).

The first leading virtues that make humans beautiful are humbleness and most of all kindness: “a little kindness values more than a lot of knowledge” (proverb). Or, “you get tired of beauty after 40 days but you cannot get enough of kindness in 40 years” (proverb). Those who cannot love or be humble are a danger for their family (and not only).
