The child, from a young age, learns quickly what he is being told and what he hears imprints on his soul as the stamp in wax. By this, his life starts to balance either to sin or to virtue.
Thus, if right from the beginning we move them away from sin and set them on the good track, this will become for them a second nature and will not divert so easily to evil for their nature will draw them towards good deeds.
